More than meets the eye

25 January 2013

What you don't see in these pictures is the best fish and chips I've ever experienced (we hadn't eaten in 12 hours or so when consumed, which is why the thought of I should document this didn't even cross my mind), the spontaneous dance party that happened in the Guinness Brewery, and that time we were Jameson Distillery's whiskey tasters sometime before noon (I don't even know how this happened, it just kind of.. did). Those things coupled with everything you do see up there made for quite an amazing trip to Dublin. Especially because our very best friends were along for the adventure. And really, I think everything is just better with best friends.

Your pictures are gorgeous and make me miss Ireland so much! I visited Dublin (and the guiness museum :) ) last spring. While I didn't love the city of Dublin very much, once we went on a bus tour through the Wicklow mountains, I truly fell in love with the Irish countryside.
