| photo credit: [one] Colorado, don't tell anyone ... but I absolutely adore you. Spending the day hiking through your mountains, literally stunned by your beauty with every step, was simply awesome. Even though the trail was covered in snow, which made walking quite the challenge [we're from the south you see, it didn't even cross our minds that we would need snowshoes] ... I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. Especially because all that snow provided for an abundance of snowball material [which my fellow explorer friend, Kelley and I totally put to good use]. |
I even visited the town that I lived in for a few months as a little girl. Let me tell you, it hasn't changed one bit. The population is even still under 100 ... 92 to be exact. It was so much fun walking down the boulevard [its only boulevard] and bringing my memories of the funky mailboxes and a crazy ice sculpture back to life. Thank you for reminding me that these little places still exist. They make me happy.
Basically Colorado, all of your mountain/snowy/little town goodness rocks. I have no choice but to promise that I'll be back soon. But trust me, I can't wait.

Gorgeous, gorgeous photos!! I have heard so many good things about Colorado lately...it's now on our radar as a Place to Live After Graduating.
I agree!!! We love the funky small towns that still exist here in the west.
Lovely photos. I love colorado. It is my & my future husbands dream to eventually have some land and little home there as a second home. I've been quite a few times, but he came with me to Telluride this summer & we fell in love with it!
Can we take a blog vacation there? Please oh, please?!
Its only my favorite place...ever. Except I haven't been to the mountains of Canada yet.... so we will see :)
